Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn.  The principles and guidelines for UDL are organized by the "Why" of learning, the "What" of learning, and the "How" of learning.

CAST website - The Center for Assistive Special Technology (CAST) is a nonprofit education research and development organization that works to expand learning opportunities for all individuals through Universal Design for Learning.  The website holds a plethora of resources and supports for understanding and implementing UDL in the classroom.  Take a look!
